I created these custom earrings to match these beads gifted to me by Heather Sellers. Hand forged sterling silver, soldered and cold connections.
These are my 2nd Horseshoe earrings. I made the beads with silvered glass and the custom made the wire that holds the beads. Love, Love, Love! I will be making more an offering them in my Etsy store. lampwork beads hand forged sterling silver cold connections
I made this bracelet in a class with Bob Michalski at the Mesa Arts Center. The metal was heated to a state of softening (annealing) and then rolled through a rolling mill with a piece of lace to imprint the lace onto the metal. The piece was then cut to size. The square metal was soldered onto the sides and then the bracelet was formed on a hydraulic press with dies.
The copper spinner ring was etched and soldered into a band. It was fitted over a sterling silver band. Then two square rings were soldered to both sides and then patina was applied and polished to make the words stand out and give interest to the entire ring.
One of my favorite pieces. This is my Lake Tahoe shaped pendant. It is sterling silver and highly polished. $75, does not include the chain. I also make earrings to match. They are smaller and hang on sterling silver ear wires I hand forged. $80
Here is a little peek into what goes into making earrings. $40 and would be made at the time of ordering.
Here is another photo of the copper earrings.
