I have been creating since I was a little girl. I started on my grandmothers pedal Singer sewing machine. I made and sold everything from wreaths, to macrame, to dolls and clothing for the dolls. When I had to get a full time job it all had to take a pause and when a tragedy struck my family I needed an outlet so I began taking classes at the Mesa Art Center in Mesa, AZ. It truly helped my grief and gave me something to pour my soul into. Glass and metalwork are just so intriguing and complicated at the same time. I’m adding a new venture, t-shirts and personalized glasses.
Sometimes you have to sit and quiet the noise. Not always easy, but necessary to allow the creative thinking to flow. I was making a spinner ring the other day and decided to film myself in the process. Luckily I knew from a friends clip that she did in time lapse that it would be the best way to take a 2+ hour process and get it in just over a minute.
